Roche Bros. supermarket, headquartered in Wellesley, MA, is an 18 store family-owned chain of stores that prides itself on providing high quality products and unmatched customer service. Roche Bros. began in 1952, in Roslindale MA, where they sold meat and produce. In 1957, they expanded and added a grocery department to their Roslindale store making it one-stop shopping for the neighborhood. Slowly the business grew and more stores were added (including 3 Sudbury Farms stores) stretching from Wellesley to West Roxbury. Most recently, they opened their 19th store in Boston’s Downtown Crossing (see above). Located in the landmark building that once housed the famed Filenes Department store, this new grocery store is definitely one of the most beautiful in Massachusetts. Roche Bros. plays a central role in Fancypants’ store because the store was actually one of our first customers. I can still remember receiving the phone call in May of 2004, for our first order. It was for 12 dozen of our hand-decorated cookies for each of their stores! Needless to say, it was our largest order to date. We’re so excited to announce that the stores now carry our Mini Crunch! Cookies
in 11 of the stores. The mini Crunch! cookies align perfectly with the high quality products that Roche Bros. and Sudbury Farms carries. Our Mini Crunch! Cookies are peanut and tree nut free which makes them the perfect snack for school and daycare snacks (lots of schools require nut free snacks due to allergy concerns); they’re also a quick, light and delicious cookie which makes them perfect for your own personal stash. The cookies are also Non-GMO Project Verified, which means that we only use high quality, simple ingredients that have not been genetically modified in any way. We will be supporting this new product line at all the Roche Bros by sampling them at the stores throughout the summer. Check out our calendar to see when we will be in a store near you! Cheers!
