Our story began in 2004 in a small, cramped Boston apartment. Maura was bored at her job (statistical analysis, anyone?) and spent a lot of time daydreaming about doing something else. She started baking - and was hooked. Justin was happily teaching elementary school; but he was a foodie at heart, and couldn't resist joining the fun of building a cookie business.
We bake with fresh ingredients including organic eggs and butter and form partnerships with local suppliers because the environment and sustainability matter.
